Terms of Service

• COD Risk Gate — Automatically blocks high-risk Cash on Delivery orders at checkout based on PIN code intelligence and a shared merchant blacklist network

• WhatsApp Flow — Sends automated WhatsApp verification messages to COD customers using your own Meta Business API credentials

• RTO Risk Scoring — Calculates risk scores per customer and PIN code based on historical cancellation patterns across the merchant network

• Free RTO Audit on Install — Upon installation, the App automatically analyses up to 60 days of your store's historical order data to calculate your RTO rate, estimated losses, and high-risk PIN codes. This is a one-time background process. Results are displayed on your dashboard.

• You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid Meta WhatsApp Business API credentials

• You must ensure your use of the App complies with the Indian IT Act, DPDP Act 2023, and all applicable local laws regarding customer data handling

• You must not use the App to send unsolicited messages or spam customers

• You are responsible for informing your customers that COD orders may be subject to WhatsApp verification

• You must ensure you have a valid legal basis for processing your customers' personal data before using the App's WhatsApp messaging features

• Each module has a free tier as described in the app's Pricing & Plans page

• Paid plans are billed via Shopify's native subscription billing system — all charges appear on your Shopify invoice

• Usage-based charges (WhatsApp per-order) are calculated monthly and billed in arrears via Shopify usage billing

• No refunds are provided for partially used billing cycles

• Plan upgrades take effect immediately; plan downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle

• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to active paid subscribers

• We process customer data (phone numbers, shipping addresses, order details) solely to deliver the services you have activated

• We do not sell, rent, or share your customers' data with any third party except as required to deliver the contracted service (see Sub-Processors in our Privacy Policy)

• All data is hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States

• We are committed to compliance with GDPR, India's DPDP Act 2023, Saudi Arabia's PDPL, UAE Federal Law No. 45 of 2021, and other applicable data protection laws

• Merchants operating outside India are solely responsible for ensuring their use of the App complies with their local data protection laws, including but not limited to Saudi PDPL, UAE PDPL, and GDPR. By installing the App, you confirm you have a valid legal basis to process your customers' personal data under your applicable local law.

• Our full Privacy Policy is available at /privacy and governs all data processing activities

• Your store contributes anonymised, aggregated cancellation and RTO patterns at the PIN code level to the shared network index

• No individual customer PII (name, phone, email) is ever stored in or shared via this network index

• Sovor may use anonymised, aggregated merchant data for product improvement and industry benchmarking — no individual merchant's data is ever identifiable in any published output

• You may opt out of contributing to the network at any time from Settings → Network Protection without affecting your access to the App

• Using the App to unlawfully discriminate against customers based on religion, caste, gender, or any other protected characteristic

• Reselling, sublicensing, or exporting App data to third parties

• Circumventing free tier limits via repeated app reinstalls or multiple store accounts

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the App's source code

• Using the App for any purpose that violates Shopify's Partner Program Agreement

• Using the App's WhatsApp features to send messages to individuals who have not placed an order with your store

• Lost orders or revenue resulting from the COD Risk Gate blocking legitimate orders

• Incorrect risk scores assigned to customers or PIN codes

• WhatsApp message delivery failures due to Meta API downtime or customer opt-outs

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App

• You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store

• Upon uninstall, active Shopify subscriptions are automatically cancelled

• Your store data will be deleted within 30 days of a written deletion request to [email protected]

• We reserve the right to terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice

Sovor may use anonymised, aggregated merchant data for product improvement and industry benchmarking. This includes aggregate statistics such as average RTO rates, COD share percentages, and delivery success patterns across the merchant network.

No personally identifiable information about your customers, your store identity, or your individual order data will ever be published or shared with third parties. All benchmarking data is combined across multiple merchants and presented only in aggregate form — no individual merchant's data is ever identifiable in any published output.

Examples of permitted use: publishing industry benchmarks such as "merchants using COD risk scoring see an average X% reduction in RTO", contributing anonymised PIN code risk data to the shared network intelligence layer, and generating aggregate ecommerce trend reports.

You may opt out of contributing your anonymised data to the benchmarking programme at any time by contacting [email protected]. Opting out does not affect your access to the App or any features.
